WEEKLY JOURNAL- 20.11.09

Twilight is a comedy... appparently
So of course, today is children in need
if you're wondering if i did anything, because im a caring soul, yes i did
For a start, i dressed as a carebear (Read more about why here: [link] ), helped out at a tombola, and watched some funny stuff
When i say that, right next to our classes tombola bit was the other media class doing a show
First they did a Karaoke (which i took part in which a few of my mates, and did Lady Gaga's Just dance ), then leg waxing (My legs are hairy, but not as hairy as some of the legs the people there had ) and a curry off
Ohh that was epic
3 of my mates were in it (Becky, Rickie and Matt) and basically they had to eat a REALLY hot curry as quick as they could
Becky ate it as if it was a bowl of cereal
Matt was freaked out at how Becky was eating the curry as if it was nothing
And Rickie nearly threw up after eating two spoonfuls
So yeah... poor ricky
Gutted Becky didnt win it though. Someone else won it (CHEAT! )
This week, i got the chance to be a reporter
On wednesday, Stavros Flatley, Miss Frank and Lucie Jones were coming to Barnsley to switch lights on
Because last year was so rubbish, i decided it would be the same and not to go ¬_¬
However, that morning, someone came to our class from the magazine department and basically said he needed someone to go there tonight, take pictures and do a report on it
So me being me, i decided to do it
So i went, did as i was asked, ended up in some really awkward posistions in the crowds, but all in all the switch on was WAY better than last years
What was even better was that i got 2 autographs from stavros flatley and a picture right next to them
I tried to get Lucies, but it was a fail
AHH now then, i saw two very exciting things this week
One being 2012 (which was awesome! )
But the thing that probaly every fan of it has been talking about....
...
DOCTOR WHO
SPOILERS FOR DOCTOR WHO: WATERS OF MARS
ok so we got the whole idea that the doctor now believes because hes the last timelord, its ok for him to do anything he wants now...
Well that was a fail wasnt it?
I see a 'son, im dissapointed in you' scene in the last two specials
but overall, the special was very classic doctor who
I thought it was very dramatic at times aswell
But a good episode anyway
